It's all starting to get Christmassy in Bristol, here's some ideas for what to do this weekend!
1. Feel like you’re stepping back to Christmas Past at the Christmas Steps lights switch on
The lights on the quaint little street are switched on at 5:30pm with choirs filing the steps with Christmas carols but get yourself down there early for FREE game playing at Chance Encounters from 2pm and Classical & Jazz violinist John Pearse at the Bristol violin shop at 4.30.
2. Pet Rudolph, Dasher and Dancer at East Street Christmas Markets
Santa and his reindeer are putting in an appearance on East Street on Saturday from 11am. And if you’re struggling for gift inspiration there’ll be more than 20 local stalls with everything from decorations and home wares to jewellery, clothing and Christmas gifts. All the info is here
3. Wrap up for free outdoor screening of Arthur Christmas
The weather’s looking chilly but fine. Head down to At Bristol are screening the modern Christmas classic Arthur Christmas on the outdoor screen, you can even Ice Skate whilst it’s showing...just remember to look where you’re going! There’s an apres-ski bar and festive stalls down there too if you just want to warm up with a gluhwein!
And after all that festive cheer you'll be wanting an easy Monday, book next week's commute now and we'll come and pick you up and get you to work hassle-free on Monday morning
