Wednesday is International Women's Day and as you would expect from this fine city of ours, there are some amazing and inspirational events going on throughout the day. Here's 3 we picked out:

Hear from and meet 4 inspirational women from the arts world who are breaking job gender stereotypes through diverse career paths and their aspirations for the future. Those in attendance include Helen Cole (Artistic Director and Chief Executive of In Between Time festival), Laura Kriefman (Architectural Choreographer and founder of the award winning company, Guerilla Dance Project)

An evening of debate and stand up comedy hosted by Bristol Community FM Radio (BCFM). The topic of discussion is 'Women in media - Separate or Integrate?' and there's some of Bristol's best female comedy from Angie Belcher, Louise Leigh, Eliza Fraser and more. There's even free food on arrival for early birds!
